a little background information on middlechilddesigns.co.uk

middlechilddesigns.co.uk also goes by the name of paulbowen. he grew up in a small village in the valleys of south wales called llangynwyd. he left as soon as he finished school and went on to get a foundation in art & design at middlesex polytechnic, an hnd in illustration at southampton university & a degree in design (illustration) at the university of suffolk. after graduating he worked in various record stores, lived in sydney (australia) for over a year & worked behind the bar of many drinking establishments in the islington area.

after tiring of retail and bar work he join the team at boyz magazine and pink paper starting by designing ads for the classified sections of the publication, moving on to display ads, then designing editorial pages & eventually working as art director for
over 5 years.

for the past 13 years he has worked for terrence higgins trust and is now the designer manager for the charity. he has worked on a number of large campaigns for the government including it starts with me and national HIV testing week. other campaigns he has been involved in are can't pass it on and PrEP protects. In addition to this he has designed materials for numerous fundraising ventures including the annual auction,
the gala dinner, the supper club and various events such as walk for life &
the red ribbon walk.

this site highlights his work for both boyz, terrence higgins trust alongside a number of freelance projects he has worked on for various clients including the nhs, boots & dementia uk.
